Like all Reality Shows, I find the more seasons the have the less interested I become. Last year I think we were only glued to the show during the auditions, after that we kinda tuned out. I don't think last year's group was as good or as exciting as the first 2.So, we'll watch tonight, see if the next William Hung gets discovered and endure more of 'Seacrest Out!'

I couldn't agree more with these statements. I couldn't even make it through last season - I gave up midway through. I personally thought practically everyone in the top 10 stunk. If there is nothing else on, I might watch tonight. Even these auditions are kind of growing old .. I think people who stink PURPOSELY go onto American Idol auditions now just to get their 15 minutes of fame, a la William Hung (who was funny for only about 15 minutes
)And the best way they can improve the show -- get rid of Ryan Secrest! The biggest overpaid, non-talent out there

I also think the auditions are the best part so I'm excited for the first few episodes. After that, I truly hope they get a much more talented group this year than they had last year.... because I thought last season was pretty weak.

I agree about the people that are there as a total goof. Just watching the previews for tonights show I saw three people waiting to be the next William Hung.
And as for Seacrest...the first season I thought Dunkelman was the biggest waste, but now I see that he was the smart one...although he is currently in the 'where are they now file'...probably will show up on the next season of Surreal Life

I feel like if I start watching, I am going to feel committed to the whole thing. Not sure if I want to make that comittment. . .I was SO addicted the first 2 seasons.

I will watch until 9:30 (then I must switch to Scrubs) and chances are, I will not watch it for the rest of the season.

I nearly forgot about that guy DunkelmanYou are correct, he is a perfect candidate for the next 'Surreal Life'

DH and I are looking forward to the show tonight. We were really addicted the last two seasons, but I didn't like last season quite as much as the one before.Ryan really doesn't bother me, but I think I'm in the minority!

Same thing with DH and I. We're excited to see the auditions, but could really care less about the rest of the season. I wasn't happy with the past couple winners (one season which I watched and I felt like I wasted my time, and the other, which I didn't watch and was relieved that I hadn't.), so I don't think I'm going to bother watching the rest of the season.
