Ideas for taking pictures in BROOKLYN?

Since there seem to be so many Brooklyn girls, maybe some of you can offer me ideas.

What are some places for pictures?

I'd love to go to Botanical Gardens, but i don't want to pay $250 for a permit to take pictures. (I wonder if they would let us sneak in if it's only the bride, groom, and the photographers?)

What about on the Promenade with views of the city? I have also seen people take pics on the Brooklyn Bridge.. amazing.

Re: Ideas for taking pictures in BROOKLYN?

I got engaged on the Promenade, so I'm a bit biased (I wish we could take our photos there).

How about:

Boardwalk (Brighton/Coney Island)
Shore Road (parks right under the Verrazano Bridge)
Prospect Park

Either Cannon Ball Park on 4th Avenue, overlooking the Verrazano Bridge.

Coney Island

Between Water Street & Front Street overlooking the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges

Manhattan Beach......my friend's groom and his ushers took pictures there before the wedding and the came out amazing...

GOOD LUCK!!

Maria

Re: Ideas for taking pictures in BROOKLYN?

The Promenade is a good idea - there aren't usually that many people there either!

Boardwalk would be great 'cause that's really close, but there would be too many people there in August...and everyone would be staring at us....Although that might be fun to capture too, a little bit of culture !

Are there any places that have flowers?
The closest thing I could think of was the flower shop!!!
