looking up selling price of house?
A house I was looking into was sold last month. I'm curious to find out what it was sold for- does anyone know how to obtain that information?
Also- does MLSLI or any other place keep track of listings that have closed?

Newsday doesn't have a complete listing. You could go to the Town and look it up, the information will be public once the deal closes.

you can sign up on domania.com and it tells you all the neighborhood sales information from an address - but in my experience it will take more than a month after closing to show up on the site

YOu will be able to find this information on Newsday.com - in the real estate sect. however, I believe it takes a few months after closing - (at least a few months)
