For the smokers.....

Isn't it going to suck to have to run outside at your reception to grab one?? I'm going to be so nervous that I'll want to smoke MORE.

No lectures from the non-smokers....I KNOW it's disgusting habit

I'm not a smoker, but it was a thought when choosing my hall. Giorgio's has a wrap around deck that is right outside the CH room and the reception room. We have a lot of smokers this way they can stand outside on the deck and we don't really lose them from the party. They can see right inside if we cut the cake and they won't miss anything.

I tried to quit before the wedding. I scrubbed a few drags off of other people...you will be so busy with everything, cigs wont be on your mind...trust me. I had the same concern.

Hey I just had to respond....I was a smoker for a very long time...and yes I miss it and yes it sux everyday!!

But I quit the day my FH asked me to be his wife....WOW now that I think about it I quit 2 months ago today!! So I feel for you both because I still consider all my guest that are smokers...I am getting married in the winter also they are going to be running outside every two seconds.

Well good luck and if you guys are thinking about quitting best of luck!!!!

i don't want to be one of those people...but I feel 100% better that I quit and i am saving a lot more money!

My sister smokes so during her reception she always kept a piece of gum in her mouth to try and fight the urge. She said it helped a little bit.

I quit just over 6 mths ago for exactly that reason. It was hard but now that this much time has gone past I am so proud of myself.

You'll probably be too busy anyway. I think I had 1 or 2 at my engagement party.

Me 2 I would never want pics of me and FH at the wedding smoking. Plus I do not want to have to kiss guests and smell like smoke

It will be a pain to go outside, especially when drinking so much. I become a chain smoker while I'm drinking. Good thing the SMCC is all 1 floor and the facility itself is small so its only a hop, skip and a jump to go outside and i'm in may so it won't be to cold.

We both smoke so we'll go outside together. we usually do that anyway.

If my photograher runs outside and takes a picture of me grabbing a smoke -- he's a nut job!! Plus, I'd kill him!
