Votive Placecard Holder - Templates???

For those doing votive placecard holders with vellum....does anyone know how to set-up the template to make them on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of vellum (or maybe have a template that they wouldn't mind sharing). I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this.

I just tested one out I fit 4 on each page

I did the same. The size of the templete depends on the size of the votive.

hmmm, ok, but then maybe stupid question...did you both just create the template with a piece of regular paper and then after figuring out where the names / table numbers should be on the piece of vellum...use that separate paper to cut the outline of the votive out on the vellum?

think my brain isn't quite working that well with all the other detail stuff going on

From someone who already has made them I guess!! I just started playing around with Sonic Stef's direction. I just am not tracing the curvature of the votive right. I see myself wasting a lot of vellum in the future!!
