Decent Hair salons in eastern nassau county??

I am trying to research decent hair salons to do my hair for my wedding on May 29, 2005, located in eastern Nassau county. Anybody have an idea and if so who can I use that is good? My wedding is on a Sunday and is also a holiday weekend. I am not having a updo. My hair is only going to be partially up and the rest down in curls. Please help! TIA

I don't know what's 'eastern nassau' but I go to Hairsay in New Hyde Park. They're really great, I'd definitely recommend them.

New Hyde Park is Western Nassau. Eastern is closer to the Suffolk county line.

Do you want north or South?

My salon is located in Bethpage. They are usually closed on Sundays but will open for regular customers and their bridal parties.

there is a cactus in Plainview, and 2 stephen street both are very good.

I live in Plainview and go to a place in Hicksville on Old Country Rd. called Quintessence. It is not glitzy like Cactus, but they are VERY good and don't cost as much as those 'trendy' hair salons. The owner Caren is the one that does my hair and she is great. She is going to be doing my hair for my wedding.

Maximus is excellent - but not cheap. They have a location in Merrick & Westbury. I have been going to Merrick for 8 years. I live out in Suffolk & travel there because they work so well w/ my hair. I have very curly hair.
