flower girl and ring bearer
My fiance and I have no young males in the family but many young girls, so I was thinking of having a flower girl and a ring bearer but the ring bearer would be a little girl now she would have a dress and all on but instead of carring flowers she would carry the pillow. would this be wrong?

Re: flower girl and ring bearer
You don't have to follow tradition. But i think it would be nice to have a girl and a boy. And no, it wouldnt be wrong. It might shock some people that you have a girl as a ring bearer but it might be cute.

Re: flower girl and ring bearer
SO should I nix that idea and just have two flower girls and no ringbearer?

Re: flower girl and ring bearer
I don't think it would br wrong to do it that way. I'm in a similar position, but I'm just not going to have a RB - I'll have to FG's and will give rings to Best Man.
JMO - It's just a matter of preference - no right or wrong .

Re: flower girl and ring bearer
there is no set way to do things when it comes to anything in a wedding...Everyone adds their own style to it...I happen to be having a FG but no RB...We have too many young boys in the family & only one girl. There was no way to choose.

Re: flower girl and ring bearer
I don't think theres anything wrong with doing it this way...You could definately give one a basket of flowers and the other a pillow...(I don't think the rings are actually on the pillow, in case they lose them...you know how kids are...lol)

Re: flower girl and ring bearer
I think that idea is adorable! You could even be creative and make her pillow flowerish so its like she's a combo!
I love to see things that are outside the box when I go to weddings and I think you would be fine to do this!
good luck!

Re: flower girl and ring bearer
Someone I know had a flower girl and a ring princess :) She just made up a 'girly' title for ring bearer. She carried a cute basket with a ring pillow in it.
