Who believes that fate brought you and your FI together??

I do...we met on Yahoo Personals.

I had been on there for a while and my FI decided to join after not being able to meet anyone through other methods. He saw my pic read that I was also a teacher, e-mailed me and the rest is history!!

He truly is my Knight in Shing Armor. I really had given up on meeting anyone nice before I met my wonderful FI!

Yes! I believe that it was fate that brought me and my FH together. We were friends for three years and then decided that we could make a try at a relationship. I am sooooooooo happy that it worked out I don't know what I would do without him.

I had almost the same situation!!!! We also met on Yahoo Personals. I never would have met Anthony because he lived in the 5 towns area and I'm in Patchogue and we definitely did not go to the same places. I never thought I would find someone. I was 32 and thinking I was going to be an old maid with 37 cats!!!!

We were friends for 3 years ALSO!! My mom was upset when we started to date because she was afraid our friendship would be ruined - well it ONLY got better!!!

I honestly believe that my FI and I were brought together by fate. We were both student interns at the mental health clinic we work at now. When I first met him I thought he was gay! But we became friends and then good friends. I was scared to take the next step (despite kissing him after too many frozen margaritas!) and asked him what would happen if it didn't work. He replied, 'but what if it does?' This has stayed in my mind the whole time!
I also believe that we were brought together by fate so that I could protect him and save him. Recently, my FI experienced excruciating pain but didn't want to go to the ER. I basically demanded that we go. Thank god we did because we found out that my FI had cancer! I can't even begin to think what would have happened to him if we were't together. I love him!

I do, absolutely.
We met on eharmony.com
He is from upstate and is now living in Queens. He is from Binghamton, where I almost went to college. I always wonder if we would have met then if I had gone there. We were both skepticall about eharmony.. we always say that we would have found each other somehow, we were meant to be together, eharmony was just the bridge that connected us.

Yes totally. We net in a bar and we made eye contact a few times.

He said he read in Maxim that day that if you make eye contact twice, that it is OK to walk up to a girl and introduce yourself.

I kinda believe my dad did after he passed away so I guess that's a form of fate. FH is alot like him. I lived in Bklyn at the time but found a job bartending on Long Island at a crappy bar next to his dads store. After hooking up so to speak we found out that our familys hung out together as teenagers. We also must have crossed paths tons of times as kids and teenagers. FH is everything my dad always told me I deserved to have in a husband so I guess he made sure I was. Gotta love Daddy!!

Something brough FH and I together...maybe it was fate.

I grew up on LI and moved to VA to go to college. FH moved to LI to go to college. We hung out at the same places when he was in his first years of college that I hung out in my last years of HS but never met.
He then moved to VA to the same street that I ended up living on.

When we met online we lived less than a mile away from each other.

Totally - we were friends in high school, but I wouldn't date him because he was two years younger. Then we wound up going to college in the same town and hanging out a bit, but lost touch...after he got out of college, he moved across the street from my mom (without realizing it...we didn't really hang out outside of school). But we actually bumped into each other again at the Library in Farmingdale, and that's where it all really began. Either way, though, we would have found each other again. It was only a matter of time!

Weird coincidences: his father went to the high school I teach at, and his sister and I went to the same colleges (Cornell and Teachers College at Columbia University), though not at the same time.

I don't know if fate brought us together, but it did help us get engaged...he proposed in the same park my dad proposed to my mom in ...we didn't even know until later that night when my mom told us. My dad passed away when I was young, so I think that's fate

I ABSOLUTELY DO!!!! We met on a blind date....and I barely knew the girl that set us up..but i figured why not....now, im marrying him and the girl that set us up is my best friend! if thats not fate, i dont now what is!!!
