Ricky Martin is on talking about Tsunami. He went there right after it happened. He does a lot of work to help save children.

Hi everyone,
I am writing to ask of you one thing,
If you can, please tune into Oprah's show Monday Jan 24th at 4pm channel 7......She is on again I believe at 7 pm on TV 55.
Yes, the guest on is Ricky Martin, but he is not there to sing or talk about his life.
He is there for an important reason, TO educate the public on a serious issue that is in our world that alot of people dont realize is such a problem.

Ricky Martin traveled last Monday to Thailand to be united to the efforts of humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake and tidal wave that affected Southeast Asia in last December.
The Oprah's camera's were there with him.
He was there to help Thai orphans through his Ricky Martin foundation, which runs a project to help combat trafficking of humans, especially children.

My good friend Cheri was able to be there at the oprah taping and said that this show will open alot of peoples eyes to see that he does more than shake his bon bon.

People for Children is a project of the Ricky Martin Foundation, located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. PFC educates and informs through internationally syndicated public service announcements. Beside, the project funds community based programs which monitor and combat a range of problems relating to the exploitation of children, with a focus on sex trafficking. The organization is also active monitoring and combating areas including debt labor, forced labor, modern day slavery, and prostitution of children. People for Children actively promotes and supports the redemption of exploited children as well as children vulnerable to sex trafficking, and the project provides assistance to the victims and their families.

All I am asking of you is to watch the show, look at these issues and if you feel the need to help. all it takes is signing a petition on a website which is below my name.

it was very touching it had me in tears i felt so sad for the woman and children who had to be tortured by being raped by their capturers sickening to my stomach when i heard that. people are so sick to do that to them. it just made me soo sad. and mad

OM G Im watching the part where they are talking about the woman being killed and their husbands who are trying to protect them got killed.

Did he give any money? ( I do think his life is worth a lot as well, just asking) I think the stars who do this, and others like Marissa Tomei and Leonardo DiCarprio who each gave $1 million dollars deserve credit.

When I think of the president spending 17 MILLION on security for a freaking inagural ball when that money could have feed half a country for a year I get so upset My head wants to blow off.

People in POWER and with resources

he is super nice and i met him since he stopped by to buy stuff at timberland in madison ave, and i used to work two stores down. he took pics with this guy that works there and signed an autograph. he is as good looking as you see on tv. i also had a crush on him when he was doing general hospital, i even went to his concert in colombia when i was 16.
