1st appt. with RE

Does anyone know what I can expect? Does my husband have to come with me?

its a Reproductive Endocrinologist.

My DH went with me to the first appointment. I had an ultrasound done and we scheduled DH for his analysis. Since I went on cycle day 3 we started a cycle of clomid that day too.

What RE are you going to?

My husband came with me to my first appointment. We had a consultation with the doctor where we went over my medical history and then he did a sonogram and took blood.

So I had my first appointment and survived. They did a sono and tried to take blood, but could not find any good veins so I have to go back for that.

I have to say there are so many tests and procedures to get done. It seems like I will be making a lot of visits to the doctor.

I have to go in one day for a test on day 5-11 and I think I might be away that week. Wondering if I should cancel my trip.

Can some of you tell me what you have gone through so far. Thanks
