bridal shower invites

If our guest list is about 220, about how many people should be on the shower guest list? I am so confused!!!!

Who is not usually invited to the shower?

It really depends. We are having 150 people at the wedding. about 55 people were invited to my shower.

My sister decided only close female relatives, friends, and the bridal party would be invited.

It should be that those ladies that are invited to the wedding should be invited to the shower. (Gentleman and Ladies if you have a CoED or Jack & Jill Shower).
But I have guests from my FH's side that I do not know(I know some of the guys but might not be very close to their girlfriends to give you an example) therefore when I made my list to give as to whom I'd like invited, I only included close friends, family, and close family of my FH and all of them are ladies.
