St. Lucia Sandals - Regency vs Grande???

We're trying to decide...and i know we have use of both if we stay at one. Grande is newer and smaller, but in a great peninsula location, and Regency is large, more active, has golf course, etc...but maybe not as nice a beach but quite a bit less expensive.

We can get more for our money at the Regency...but is it worth it? Is the Grande much nicer? Anyone who has seen both - help! thanks:)

The best website I have found to help me decide on a place is www.tripadvisor.com. Their reviews are brutally honest and some people complain just for the sake of it, but at least you'll get a general idea of the most complained about things regarding a particular property. I hear the Grande St. Lucian is the best - but definitely do your research.

I would definintly check out trip advisor.com The Grande got much better reviews. We were having the same dilemma. We actually ended up booking the new Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. I originally did want to go to Jamaica, but this resort sounds really nice !! (also a little cheaper) It's opening up next month and it's already getting really good reviews from travel agents. It's worth checking out.
