how many days haveyou taken off from work so far-

I had to take 3 sick days off this week becuase I have a bad cold- possibly sinus infection and one day a few weeks ago when the baby was in a weird position causing me discomfort. I feel badly becuase I normally dont take off any days even when Im sick I try to tough it out. But since preggo dh doesnt want me to push myself when I dont feel good. Why do I still feel guilty though?

I've taken off more now than I ever have. You probably feel guilty because you would come in, even if you werent feeling great... But your DH is right. If there is ever a time to miss a day and just relax, its now. I have a feeling that your co-workers will understand if you have to take off.

I called in sick once and I am 30 weeks! I feel like crap. I should have stayed home today!
I took off 2 days for my 13 week sonogram and my 20 week. I go back to work after every test including the 3 hour glucose test and I was so dizzy walking from Penn Station back to work. I have gestational diabetes and need to eat at certain times. I need to take care of myself better. I called in sick once in 3 years and that is because I was throwing up with morning sickness!

Don't feel guilty! You are pregnant!

I haven't taken any sick days due to the pregnancy yet, but I have a very easy commute. I can't imagine dealing with public transportation!

I took off one for the flu
And 3 for my 3 year old son who had pneumonia (then my mom took off for the rest of it because I dont have tenure)
