Question about registering....

How far in advance do you register and where is everyone registering?

We registered 14 months before my wedding. We registered at Fortunoff's and Berta 67 (a local store in Bklyn).

I just registered this week for my june shower and october wedding. I wanted to wait so I wouldnt have to run into things being discontinued.

We registered about 2 wks ago for our engagement party in March..just in case people wanted to start buying things. We only put a few things on there. Since we don't know what colors we will do.

We registered about a month before our engagement party, about 11 months before our wedding. We didn't register for much at first and then added on a bit.

We registered yesterday for our July wedding (not sure when my shower is being held). We registered at Fortunoff yesterday and are registering at Crate and Barrel on February 20th. We didn't want to do it too soon because we were afraid of things being discontinued.

We got engaged Christmas Eve... our wedding is June 05 - we will register this week at Macy's and Bed Bath & Beyond. If we need more items, then we'll go to Kohl's or William Sonoma

We just began our registry on Saturday at Macy's. We will complete the registry sometime in the spring before our engagement party.
