November/ December brides check in

Alright....as my FH reminds me every chance he gets, I know that we have 9-10 months left but just wondering where everyone is at in their wedding planning so if I know my 'slacker-ness' is appropriate.

FH is totally on my back to do stuff! I still have to book the limos, florist, go over guest list (as I think it is getting out of hand), favors, and other misc. stuff. I keep telling him we have plenty of time. lol. So, slack on!

Let's see...tomorrow I am going with my MOH and Matron of Honor to look at dresses....once they find one they like, I will bring the others. We'll be at Burton's, so I am also putting a deposit down on flowers.

Still to Do: honeymoon, favors (they are picked out, we are ordering them in July), shoes, BM gifts (picked out), hair trial

November seems so far, but then again, we got engaged in August and that seems like yesterday!

I don't have too much stuff left. Need limos, and have to meet our officiant, a friend of my Aunt.

We still have limo, florist and photographer to book...We pretty much know who we are going to use for limos and flowers so I am not panicking at all...Things will get done!!!!

I am going to look for BM dresses this weekend and I need to book my limos and florist-other than that I am on track (I think anyway )

The $$$ is running low but that is to be expected-weddings are a fortune

still have to do honeymoon, dj, limos, pre-cana, meet with priest, ceremony music, programs, hotel for OOT guests, gift bags for OOT guests. . .

I'm probably forgetting a bunch of things. . . am going this weekend to finalize reserving a block of rooms at the Wingate, and might go with mom to look for her dress - though she keeps saying 'I want to lose 10 pounds before we go shopping.'

Most of our big stuff is booked, mostly little things left now! The biggest thing left at the moment is finding the BM dresses! All our vendors are done!!

I am the slacker queen. I STILL need a band, florist, limos, hair, make-up, favors & invites. I'm sure I'm missing a ton! I DID do the hall, church, BM dresses & my gown!

dont you all worry...im the biggest slacker of all


dont have my gown , no bm gowns, no video, no real florist...im not really enjoying it so when i start again , i think ill get more done

i am anal and booked most of the big stuff within like 5 months of being engaged. i did the church,
pre cana is done,
reception hall,
florist,
photographer,
limos,
DJ
i blocked hotel rooms
booked the honeymoon. i already put in for all my time off
last month i got my dress!
i know what my favors will be but i have to wait until i have a better idea of how many are coming.
my std's are in envelopes, stamped and ready to go for about 4 months now, DEFINITELY lazy about those for some reason. i couldnt wait to do them and now i am like 'oh i'll get to it'.
i went bm dress shopping one day w/ my moh, but i really need to get going w/ that. no idea on invitations and all the smaller details now. its weird i am so used to saying i am getting married 'next year' and everyone keeps reminding me its like 9 months away!!
i am going to southbeach the week before easter w/ 3 girlfriends for a long bach. week!

ETA: havent bought wedding bands yet but know the style we want, no bp gifts or parent gifts
oh boy ETA again for no idea on hair or make up!

ok so far I have bought my dress,tiara,veil,fur shawl, bridesmaids dresses,florist(burtons flowers) Photographer(duets)hall(eastwind estate)church,priest(my uncle)got some little bridal party gifts for the girls these really pretty poems worth the $$$!

still have to book DJ(looking at one tomorrow night) Limos,pre-cana,honeymoon,tuxedos
I feel like I'm finally catching up thank god!!!

December 10th..

I have my hall and church booked.
I just picked out my BM's dresses last month. Now deciding on two colors. Wine or Champagne.

Going shopping on Saturday for a Wedding Gown (manhasset macy's bridal)

Photography booked (BTC photography vendor here) does awesome work...

Limos-none yet
Flowers- none yet
Invites- no idea..
Save the dates- when should these go out?
Hotel Blocked- not yet
BP gifts- no clue what to get them
Videographer- saw one last week, might book him.
DJ- Still cant find one we like (Fiance is a DJ so he is very picky on who we choose)
Favors- doing ourselves



Im sure there is more stuff Im forgetting I really havent done anything yet.

I have all the big vendors done. Still need rabbi, my dress, mom's dresses, invitations, ceremony programs, table cameras, wedding bands and other assorted little odds and ends.
