RVSP past, missing 40+ cards.... sad...

so im upset that people are lazy and cant F#&@ing mail back a response card that is already stamped. Like, what is the pain behind this process.... you act like you have somthing to think about. either you do or you dont.

now im forced to call people and put them on the spot because of their laziness.... uhhh

and did i mention, im worried about my min guest amount for reception?

this invite thing, dealing with post office (who apparently lost some) make me wish i had a destination wedding like i wanted....

I dont understand what the big deal is!! When I get and invite I try to mail it back the next day. Most people if they are going or not long before they even get the invite!!!

I feel your pain. Our RSVP date was 1/23/04 and we are still missing about 25 responses, 20 of which are FH's family. Well, I gave the list to FH's mom and she told us last night that none of the 20 people are coming. It sucks that most of his family isn't coming. I didn't expect that just about all of them wouldn't make it and now we won't meet our minimum.
It's one thing to not come but still send back the freaking card It's just the respectful, considerate thing to do.

I understand how frustrating that must be. You're absolutely right, what does it take to check the box off and pop it in the mailbox?!?

Sorry you are frustrated... not something you need at this point. Just make sure you tell them what a great time they missed!

Gonna wait till thursdays mail comes in. This weekend, i will have a better understanding of who is coming and who is not... then worry about my B-List ppl...

I'm so sorry! I don't understand why people can't send back a simple response. It can't be because they don't have a stamp, it come with itl. People are so lazy.

I'm having the same problem as you..
our RSVP date was the 31st and we still don't have answers from quite a bit of guests, plus some people on FH side added people onto their response cards.

I called FMIL yesterday and told her to call these people and and that if I don't have the responses by this Weekend-they are going on the list as a NO...

people are very inconsiderate, like you said-you made the invitation idiot proof, either you can or you can't attend-what's the problem?

Why do people do this? They can be so inconsiderate. Hang in there. Hopefully you will get them real soon. Keeping my fingers crossed here for you.

My RSVP date is Friday and I'm missing 36 so I feel your pain! Its the most annoying thing in the world and I plan on reeming out those too lazy to friggen put a piece of paper with a check mark in the mailbox!

well, to make today better..of the 40+ i was missing, i got a big 10 today... made me feel better.... 40 or so shy from my min...i'm less worried and i'm sure vendors will make up the rest...
