DIY placecards

I am interested in making my own placecards. I want to make regular ones (free standing-no frame) but include a graphic. Has anyone done this before? I know they sell them by the sheet at some places. Any help is appreciated!

I bought mine at Michaels and printed them on the computer. But I didn't do any graphics since I was in a rush

I bought mine at staples, they had a pearl border on them already, and they were sheets, very easy. I'm sure they sell blank ones so you could do your own border. It should be pretty simple.
