BRILLIANT!

Driving on Southern State on Friday through Nassau County ..

A cop is cruising in the middle lane. Everyone has jammed up behind him because everyone is going as fast as they can without passing him .. putting the range at about 55-60 mph.

Well, dumb doorknob in a Jeep gets aggitated and can't show restraint.

Doorknob moves from the middle lane to the left lane and proceeds to easily pass by the cop .. no excessive speed .. no reckless moves.

Doorknob continues traveling easily as he gradually opens some distance and leaves us all behind, including the cop.

Doorknob must have then gotten brave, because it seemed like the Jeep was beginning to gradually accelerate.

Doorknob got NAILED by the cop!!

What was this person thinking??? Not only passing a cop already traveling at or over the speed limit .. but to pull away????

to be honest i get that way too!. I get soooo sick of people being sooo caustious on the road when a cop is around...
AND going 55 all the way home is stupid! NOBODY does that! So depending how fast he was really going...
Well i would have passed him too! But i don't think i would have gone over 65...I have done it plenty of times and never have gotten pulled over...
THOUGH..i usually do this on the LIE...
IMO the Troopers on the parkways are meanies and look to give yo a ticket ANY chance they get

No .. this was a Nassau County Cop that pulled the doorknob over .. it was not a State Trooper.

And I don't think the driver even got up to 65. We were cruising about 55-60. Doorknob slowly passed the cop. Maybe when doorknob got brave s/he was approaching 65.

I agree that it's annoying that everyone slows down because a cop is around .. but if you're going to break the speed limit in a cop's presence, you might was well just tell the cop you want a ticket!

Honestly that is the best feeling when u going like 65 maybe even 70 and some moron goes flying by you and makes you feel like u are standing still. Then you catch up to them because they got pulled over.
