just wondering when to start seriously searching. does anyone have their gown already?

I have an appointment for President's day. I'm hoping to find a dress this month.

I'm going to start looking this summer. We have plenty of time. I've started collecting pictures of dresses and styles I like.

I actually ordered mine already since it was going to be discontinued.

I ordered mine in November along with BM dresses...I fell in love with it & there was a chance it was going to be taken off the market bc it was a spring 04 dress

i ordered mine at burtons. i hate trekking all over the place and getting high pressure saleswomen at some of these joints.
when i like something, i go for it and i like the dress and Mom cried- so i knew it was the one.

I haven't either...I've tried a few on bc I couldn't wait to walk into a bridal salon and say I was looking for a gown

I'll probably start looking more towards the beginning/middle of the summer...

I am planning on ordering my dress at the end of the month. I figure I should do it soon since I am getting married in January '06. I tried it on and my best friend cried. So I know it's the one. Here is the dress I am ordering.

I guess it's safe to wait for the one year mark. But, I'm so damn excited.

I think I've found it but I still want to try going to one more place. Eve of Milady they tell me takes almost a year so I have to get a move on!!!

I found one I love but, I am not sure it is the ONE. . . so I have not purchased my dress yet. I also figure I should have a date set prior to actually purchasing. I am hoping to get a date and a dress within the next few weeks!

I ordered it already because it takes 9-10 months. I'm getting married in March, so it will get in around Nov/Dec. I wouldn't wait to long though cause with alterations and such, it could take a while. Good Luck kerry

Bought mine already a few weeks ago at Kleinfeld. They were having an Amsale trunk show, so I went b/c I always like the look of her dresses, and I found the one.
