Brides Taking Pics Before Ceremony (Repost from BHB)

How much time are you putting aside to take pictures before? Our ceremony starts at 6:30pm, and our hall won't let us get there to take pics on the grounds until 4pm. Is this enough time?

Thanks!

Our ceremony starts at 6:30 as well but the call time is 6 so really, we need to be done by 5:45. So, we are probably getting there at 3:30 for set up time and starting around 3:45, gives us 2 hours.

But, this is one where I would check with your photographer and see what they say.

We're about the same. We're having our pics taken at Vanderbilt and that's at 4:00. We can't be at Thatched until 6:00 and the ceremony is at 7:00. I think it should be more than enough time.

Our invite time is at 6:30 and we're starting pics on the grounds at 3. Maybe you can take pics for an hour somewhere else until 4?

I was thinking the same thing about taking pics somewhere else before. I didn't know if there was enough time in the day.

Any recommendations near the Watermill in Smithtown?!?!

Thank you! I guess I have more time than I realized.

How are you arranging it to see your FH without anyone around?
