IN 3 weeks it will be the Anniversary of the Station Nightclub Fire that killed 100

February 20, 2003.

Please keep the families who lost loved ones and the people who survived in your thoughts and prayers.

This was a horrible, HORRIBLE night in my life...I heard it on breaking news as it started becaue I was picking of my DH at work, and saw the dozens of ambulances flying on the highway...DH and I stayed up all night long, just watching TV...the breaking news..it was horrible...I cannot shake that feeling..the feeling of the unknown, did I know anyone who was going to that concert that night? What happened? etc..etc..etc...

I am very lucky in that I did not lose any personal friends, but I ahve friends who lost people...I live close to a funeral home, and our roads were blocked off to deal with all the funeral traffic...I drove past casket trucks...had lots of sleepless nights..

So please, keep the people who perished, the families who lost, and the people who survived, along with the supporters, in your thoughts and prayers...
