Preferably seafood or a steakhouse.

Re: Romantic Restaurants in the City?

Well everytime my anf FH's relationship needs a serious dose of ROMANTIC we go to our favorite place. It is called Erminia and I have been VERY hard pressed to find any other restaurant in the city (I live in Manhattan) that can come close. The food is amazing too. I put the citysearch description below.

250 E 83RD St
New York, NY 10028-2817
Cross Street: Bewtween Second Avenue and Third Avenue
Phone: (212) 879-4284

Hidden away on the Upper East Side, old-school Italian in one of the city's most romantic spaces.

The Scene
The tiny, wood-wrapped dining room is entirely candle-lit and filled with rustic farmhouse artifacts. Attentive, suited gentlemen (most members of the family that has owned Erminia for 20 years) whisper to the starry-eyed, gussied-up couples seated at ten linen-draped tables. Wine glasses are clunky, old wood chairs rattle a bit, but the mood is no less formal.

Re: Romantic Restaurants in the City?

We went once to Foleys Fish House its located in the Renaissance Hotel. It's a little pricy, but what place in Manhattan isn't, right -- it was very good.

It over looks down the middle of Times Square.

Here's a link http://www.foleysfishhouse.com/

Chez es saada. It is downtown & says it is Moroccan(sp) but I had amazing seafood. The place is spectacular...candles, waterfalls and rose petals everywhere!

Do they have a website? I tried to do a search, but couldn't find anything...

I don't remember the name of that one. Something Grill. I think that the one in Rockefeller is owned by the same person who owns Blue Water.
