Duet Brides... thank you card question

How long did it take for your TY cards to come in after you placed the order? And how many did you get? Does Duet call or email you when they come in or should I call?

Also... what happens if I didn't order enough cards? What do I do then? I'm afraid I ordered too few.

I think a week after I emailed Nicole for Thank yous they came in. I called to check and they said they were in (I find I always have to call, they seem like they would never call me about proofs/TYs, etc.). I asked that they be mailed to me and they were very accomodating. In the contract it says you can order more if you don't have enough--I forget the price, maybe $3 each?

Wow... thanks!! Mine should be in then because I e-mailed her about 3 weeks ago!! I'm going to email her now. I really would like to get these thing out before I'm sending birth announcements!!!

I truly adore Nicole and Duet was great to work with on a whole - I love our pics. But as Beth said, I have found this to be true. You do need to get on top of them somtimes - they are often a bit lax in letting you know when proofs/pictures, etc are ready. If you don't track them down, they often don't call or email you first

I also had to email 2x about my thank yous when I hadn't heard about them for the couple weeks after I gave them my picture selection. Turns out they HAD been ready for at least a week but Nicole had forgotten to contact me to let me know this (not a big deal really, since I still had them back in a relatively short amount of time ..but anyways...)

So definitely don't wait for them to call or email you - I have a feeing they are probably sitting there and ready..

Now the fun part for you - writing them all out!

I got mine in january it took a long time to get them in and they never called me. I didn't hear from them for a while and i called they said they had been there for 2 weeks. They DO NOT call you you have to call them. I jsut got done with my thank yous and i was married in september and i ordered them late october and then recieved them the 2nd week of january. Best of luck.

I got a 100 and i told them that because of how upset i was with the whole TY card thing that if i needed extras i would not be paying for them. I loved their work and working with them except the TYs.
