Response Card... QUESTION

OK, I am ordering Invites TODAY...
Another question....

ON the response cards,
I want to put

Name:______________

then..

Number of Persons____________
Will______ Will Not________ attend

Can I do that???

I want the # of persons, AND the will/will not... not just ONE or the other?!?!?!?!?

because I don't want someeone we invited with a guest to just put "Will Attend" but then I dont know if its 2 or not... and I don't want jsut hte "Number of persons" b/c if people arent'; comeing, I want to make sure they RETURN it...

What do you guys think?!?!?

Re: Response Card... QUESTION

It hink it looks fine. We're having ours like this if it helps:

The favour of a reply is requested by the first of August.

Name(s)___________________

___ Delighted to Attend ___ Regretfully Decline
___ No Attending

Please share a token of advice or well wish for the bride and groom on the back.

I'm sure we'll tweak the wording a bit but this is the idea! I always hear the same questions from folks - what do I put after the "M"? or how do they know if I am bringing a guest? When my friend and I went through her RSVPs she got a bunch with no mention of the guest.

Re: Response Card... QUESTION

that sounds good. I like the idea of putting number of attending. I am inviting some people with kids. If they put the number than I can know if they are bringing the kids or not. Good Idea

Re: Response Card... QUESTION

the people who were not coming put a zero on ours. You want to make them as easy as possible so that people aren't confused. JMO

Re: Response Card... QUESTION

Awesome for the ideas! those are perfect!!! In the wedding invite book they didn't have any that were the combo of BOTH styless... i'm so glad taht I didn't have to think of the way to do it!!

I definately want to put the check box, as well as # attending so I will know exactly HOW many are coming from that party!

Thanks for the help ladies!

didn't people figure that if they WEREN"T coming, then they didn't have to put anytnig, b/c it said just "# of persons"... and didn't send back the response card...

Thats' what i'm worried about... I feel that that is not a "clear" option... and would be more confusing

ETA: these little stupid detials are driving me nuts!

Re: Response Card... QUESTION

how abt " we will hunt u down if u dont reply by........" JK... kinda

The RSVP is such a sore point with us.
I suggest the beginning read:

Please response BEFORE 0/0/2005

or something like that so they will reply immediately
