I got a ceremic one from Duene Reade for under $30. It works great.

Ricky's has several great ones. Not sure if there is a Ricky's on LI but there are several in Manhattan.

I use hot tools ceraminc..it was about $35, it';s the same one my hairdresser uses at the salon. I got it at the haircare store in roosevelt field (by burger king)

Ulta has a great flat iron for hairs. thats where i got mine.

I have to agree on the Hot tools ceramic one. Inexpenisive and works as good as my Babybliss pro which is about $100.
