Repost . . . Atlantic City hotel?

CAn anyone recommend a nice but inexpensive hotel in AC?

We wanted to stay on the boardwalk if possible, but someone also recommended the Sheraton to me since they have limos that drop you off at the Boardwalk on weekends . . .

Anyone else have a suggestion?

THANKS!

Atlantic Palace ... it's near the Taj ... no casino though, it's an 'all-suites' hotel ... jacuzzi, kitchenette, etc ... realtively inexpensive (compared to the casino hotels) and right onnthe boardwalk!

Re: Repost . . . Atlantic City hotel?

I like the place a lot. It's clean and it's very convienent to everything. I cannot justify spending $300 - $400 on a room that I'm only going to lay my head down for a few hours.

We always stay at Harrahs. We went once for the day and played at Harrahs and now they send us free rooms every month. And we don't gamble a lot either.

Re: Repost . . . Atlantic City hotel?

DH and I have membership cards from the casions where build up comp every time we play the slots and during the week it's very easy to get a comp room. We are going mon and tues and are staying two night at trump plaza for free...well not really for free we are gambling, I mean nothing in life is ever really free right...LOL.....
