In Kaui - either the Princeville or the Hyatt.

The Princeville is on the northside (what i've gathered) and it has lots of little sun showers and is more tropical and rain foresty (i've been told)

The Hyatt , I've been told too, is absolutely breath taking. It has a huge lagoon in the front of it and the whole island is a totally different experience from Maui in terms of scenery - no matter where you stay.

I think tripadvisor.com has virtual tours - you could see all the resorts!!!

Are you doing Maui?

We stayed at the Hyatt. It was a great place and we really enjoyed the service there. Enjoy we want to go back so bad.

My brother and his wife stayed at the Hyatt in Kaui and LOVED it! I saw their video - the room and views were breathtaking, and the service/food, etc. was excellent.

If you want, check out www.creativeleisure.com (they are an 'upscale' tour operator) and browse through properties they offer in Kaui just to see what else is good!

We were at the Sheraton too and we loved it!! Right on Poipu Beach, very friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and we had a deal that we had a free breakfast buffet every morning (HUGE buffet) and free happy hour every evening.
