SOME PEOPLE HAVE NERVE

So as some of you may know fh's half brother (43yr old) and his daughter (7yr old) are in my wedding
the 7yr olds dress was paid for by my fmil..the shoes and tights by me and fh
I also have 2 daughters in the wedding and they didnt need alterations but the 7yr old did and the mom wont pay for it (its only $27 but still ) she didnt even offer

So I call her today to ask if fh's brother went to do the tux and she said we had a little problem so I asked her what was wrong...She had the nerve to say....We weren't sure who Traditionally PAYS for the tux.....I almost choked ....Is she f'ing kidding me?
Then I tell her that there will be someone coming to do our hair if she wants her daughters hair done it's $50 and I cant pay for it but she doesnt have to get her hair done It is up to her
so she says but I want her to look beautiful...so I said ok come in the morning i will have bagels etc and she said oh you'll do her hair right and I said IT'S $50 IF YOU WANT IT DONE then she was like I guess I have to pay it right

I HATE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CAN YOU BELIEVE SOME PEOPLE?AM I OVERREACTING ???

Like paying for the wedding isn't hard enough on you. Tell her to do the girls hair herself or fork over the $50

No you aren't overreacting. That is ridiculous--when you say ok to be in a wedding whether it is you or your child or your husband you can't expect the bride & groom to pay for everything-like weddings aren't enough you have to pay for people to be in it. Some people just have som NERVE--I think since you & your FMIL were so generous to the daughter she expected everything to be paid for but really the brother didn't go to the tux place b/c they didn't know who was going to pay for it--unreal. I hope it gets better.

No you are not overreacting. She needs to hang out with my BM who thought it was ok to play a gig the night before our wedding in another state (Ohio or Pennsylvania). HELLO???? we are getting married at 11 am.

As my Granny used to say... 'If that behavior doesn't stop, I'm going to string you up by your toenails'.

She actually was a very loving Granny but I think she had the right idea.

wow - thats not good. Is it that they dont really have the cash, or are they just refusing to pay.

If they don't have the money, maybe the dont want to be left out and feel comfortable enough asking. I'm trying to find a bright side for you

Tell her if she wants her daughters hair done to give you the $50 ahead of time & be there at a certain time or else she has to do it herself!!!!!

they just dont want to pay
they have 2 incomes
we have one
they have 1 kid
we have 2
their kids dress and shoes were paid for what else do you want from me....I wish they would just not come


also thanks girls I feel soooo much better than I did a little while ago
