Two Years

ago today I ran into FH after not seeing him for over seven years...and now we're counting down to our wedding day

both of us are working over time tonight

I'm going to try and get home and cook us breakfast - blueberry pancakes for him and banana nut for me...its what we ate when he promised to take me out to breakfast that night

Congrats!

Similar story - I met FH on JDate - he was one of my matches. To make a long story short, after chatting for a while, we realized we knew each other from college and in fact met our first week of our freshman year at a fraternity party. He was the second person I ever kissed in my life. 16 years later, we are planning a life together.

Oh! That is so sweet! I just got the chills!

My sister and her DH met the same way too. They hadn't seen eachother for like 5 years and then one day on the LIRR and the rest is history!

Me too. We're almost at two years.

FH and I went to college together, had the same major, even lived in the same dorm for 6 months in the fall of 1988 yet never met until March of 2003. Oh, yeah and we once interviewed for the same job at a very small company. He used to work in my hometown and often have lunch at my favorite Chinese food restaurant and I would go there for dinner. Then his office moved and I would drive right past it every morning on the way to my first teaching job. Finally, on our first date we realized that we were both at the same Glen Tilbrook show at the Downtown 5 months before and we were standing 15 feet away from one another. There are a few other's but I'll keep it short.

I guess it took the big guy upstairs 15 years to finally decide if we should meet.
