Girls with morning weddings....

I was wondering a timeline for girls that have had morning weddings or are having morning weddings. When was/is your makeup/hair being done and when are your pictures starting. Oh-This is for girls who are taking pictures before the ceremony. My invite says 11:00 and the ceremony is starting at 11:30

we had hair at 5 am, so i was up at 4:30 maybe earlier. did makeup, pics were starting at 7:30, were at the vanderbilt by 9:30, at TC by 11:00, ceremony started at 12.

OUr is not that way but for an 11am wedding I was in, we had hair done at 6am (we didn't have our makeup done professionally or I guess it all would have been earlier?). I think we took pics at 9:30?

Talk to your photographer and Tarale about it, because it really depends on when you want to start pictures and how many girls need hair/makeup done.

I had 8 BMs. We were up around 4, Tarale and Wendy showed around 5, pictures were SUPPOSED to start at 8:30 (but they didn't because the Photog. was LATE, not because we weren't ready), and the wedding was SUPPOSED to start at 11:30 but didn't because of the Photog. It started at 12 (as far as I know) and everything ran late.

For that reason, make sure that the photographer KNOWS where they are going and that they had better be on time.

whoever is doing hair and makeup should be able to give you a timeline according to who's getting done and what they are getting done. usually you count backwards from the time you need to be ready.

Thank you. Any more morning brides out there? Also, did you get ready in your house or hotel or where your halls even open that early?

I'm expecting to start hair & makeup around 4:30am....lovely...right?

We're taking pictures at OWG at around 9:15am then going for our ceremony over to WEstbury Manor at around 11 ish...

Our ceremony is at 12pm.

I want to take pictures of things like getting ready, my mom & my dad etc at my house.....bridesmaids etc......

so hopefully we can do this around 7:30/8am...hmm now i'm thinking about times and everything.....

i think i'm gonna make a post too..ahh.... i'm stressing my timeline bigtime

I knew it would be an early day but 4 & 5am sounds crazy! I don't function at those hours!!!!

I ditto that!!! I can't get up that early. I was hoping, 6 or 7...but then what do I know!

I would say, with four people getting makeup done, and 6 (?) people getting hair done, you'll have to be up around 4:30AM. I would ask Tarale on Sunday and call/email Denise too. Also, check your contract and see how long you have Duet for - that'll be the biggest determining factor.

I got a suite at the hotel and me and my girls are getting ready there. I figured the closer we are to the wedding site the more sleep we get. Tarale had us all getting ready at 3am (5 girls including me!) So needless to say I asked her to come with someone else and we will now be getting ready at 6am. I have to pay a bit more but for me the extra sleep is worth it. WE are starting pics at the site at 9am.

I am having a morning wedding (11:30 a.m.), though I'm still finalizing details, my day will probably start at 4:30 - 5:00 a.m. It's just me and my MOH who are getting hair and makeup done so it should work out.

I am staying at the hotel next door to fox hollow, my ceremony and reception site.

Hair and makeup is coming at 7:30.
I have one girl doing my hair and my friend's mom who is a hair stylist is doing 4 of my BM's hair. My photog and video is coming at 9:30 and we are taking pictures before our 12 noon ceremony, so that we can enjoy our cocktail hour.

I had everything done at my house.

5am-hair arrives
6am-makeup arrives
7:45-Photographer arrives
8:00-Flowers drop off bouquets & GM flowers
8:30am-Limo arrives
9am-10:30 All pics are taken before ceremony
11:30am-ceremony begins
12pm-take family pics
12:15 ENJOY COCKTAIL HR!!!

My ceremony starts at 1 and our first hair appointment is at 630 we are doing make up too, then going to the fox hollow to get dressed and hoping to start pics by 930-945
