First Nightmare and a 2nd dream...sending me signs?!?!

Okay, so Wednesday night I had my first wedding nightmare.


My mom and I walk into the Holiday Inn, which one? Who knows, but it’s where the wedding it to be. My mom asks me what she can do, so I pull out my veil all rolled up in a bag and ask her to press it. I then go to the banquet Manager’s office and say “I need place cards” I am then told that I received the place cards when I got the directional cards. I then say “I did not get directional cards, oh no I sent out invites w/o directional cards, no one is going to know how to get here” My mom reassures me that everyone knows where the Holiday Inn is. So we go back to the room, and the tables are being arranged, and it’s all like a restaurant, small tables with 4 chairs. I count the seating and there is only enough for 5 people. I start ranting b/c we are expecting 100 people and there is not enough seating. I am again reassured by my mom (LOVE HER!) that everything will be fine, everyone will have a seat. Then I put my hair up in a clip (just flip it up, nothing special) and throw in the veil, by the way, I am wearing black stockings, black shoes, shorts and a tee shirt. Guests now start arriving, I hear only overhead music, no DJ playing, start gripping about that I have paid for a DJ and he’s not there. Then I try calling FH, who is NOWHERE to be found, then calmly strolls in at 8:15, when we were supposed to start at 8!

Now, last night I had a dream that the bridal party along with FH and I were at a bridal shop so the girls could try on dresses when I am told that there are 3 new additional guys in the BP courtesy of my FH. They are all employees of Royalty Limo, and they are in the bridal party b/c they know where we are going and want to make sure we get there.

Funny thing…we have not even booked limos and Royalty isn’t even who we’re going with!

Friends and MOH have been reassured me that “The dreams are JUST beginning!” Neither of these dreams bothered me; actually they were quite entertaining!!

I have had a few dreams about the wedding. Last night, I dreamt that FH and I skipped the reception. With about 30 minutes to go, I got really upset and wanted to go to the reception. We went and there were about 15 people still there. I made them watch our first dance and then I tried to figure out a way to get the day back so that I could do all of the traditional things (cut the cake, dance with dad, throw the bouquet). It was awful. I woke FH up to tell him about it.

I hate having dreams like this -- what is it supposed to mean? Don't skip reception?
