i looked and i decided...screw it! i know local teachers are calling in so i did, too! city schools wouldn't close for 36 inches of snow!!! we're daycare, remember

My thoughts exactly...I HATE NYC!

The secretary gave me such an attitude...you know what 3/4 of the teachers in my school live in Brooklyn....

Kathleen, you live in LI and work in Brooklyn? That is not fair they are giving you a difficult time esp. since many other teachers are in Brooklyn and i bet subs too.

I live on the EAST END of Suffolk, made it into work in Queens, 25 teachers called in sick, and yet my AP had the nerve to give me crap today!! Shoulda stayed home!
