We did 6 pictures at Michaels w/their sale in January, we got 70% off everything. They do this sale twice a year, maybe you can wait for it, it was w/3 more you got 70%. Michaels does quality work, superior to the others I have seen. Our stuff came our amazing.
I hope this helps, I'm assuming you didn't want Michaels due to price.

AC MOORE just opened on Hicksville Road right by Hempstead Turnpike---where Stop N Shop used to be--well first it was Food Town, then Edwards, then Stop N Shop hahha it's in Plainedge Plaza
Also, try Pearl Paint in East Meadow. There is also a place in the Tri-County Flea Market that does framing also!

Where do you live? There is a place in Whitestone called Rambrich that has good prices. I've used them before. It's on 150th Street north of the Cross Island.
There's also a Rag Shop on 20th Ave in College Point.

There is a frame place in Massapequa Park on Sunrise Hwy. Never been there though. There is also another one in the Sunrise Mall.
