i need songs for my 'must play list' - please help!

now that i want to start making the list, i can't think of anything - suggestions?

Go to the Web site of your band or DJ - Or ANY band or DJ on the vendor list and they have Lists of songs they do...

I copied that list into Excel and started crossing off songs NOT to play like:

Macarena
So Many Men
We are Family
etc.

And worked my way back....

For songs to play - Start with Stevie Wonder.

Tommy Tunes has on their website different play lists for first dance songs.. cake songs.. etc. Check em out:)

One of the wedding planning books I used (it might have been the knot's) had an extensive list of songs. I took the book out of the library, so I can't remember which one it was.

I also went to the Billboard website for ideas, but you can only access certain areas of the site- I think I was looking at what were the #1 songs in certain years.

Oh yeah.. and the Knot has under Reception Ideas. or Music (can't remember).. but they have all different lists for walking down the aisle.. cocktail.. dinner... etc:)
