I had a friend do mine and I was very happy with the way it came out. I have had it done professionally once before and hated it. I don't wear much on a daily basis and it just didn't look right on me.

I did buy new products to use however....

I highly recommend you getting your makeup done. It makes a BIG difference in pictures and video.

I had Amy from Merle Norman do mine and she was great. FM if you want more info

I'm using Jillian of Gorgeous Faces. I normally don't wear a lot of make-up and I've also never been good at putting it on anyway, so for my wedding I want to make sure it's done right! And I want to do everything I can to make sure I look good in pictures, hopefully!

I had a friend do it, but she used to do makeup at Estee Lauder Spa in Manhasset.

I used Jillian as well - she was amazing and made me feel beautiful

Definitely have it professionally done - its your day to be pampered and feel like a princess after all

And if for nothign else, just for some peace of mind on your wedding day! The last thing you want to be worrying about it having a friend do it and not living up to expectation, or having to attempt to do it yourself and giving yourself more unnecessary stress on an already stressful day!
