New Table Linens at CLM

New Table Linens at CLM

I don't know if you have all heard this yet but thought I would share. I spoke to Lou last week about renting different tablecloth's and he said that they are getting new ones this summer and that they will be damask. He also said that the new bridal suite is guaranteed to be done for '06.

about the bridal suite....I was told it should be done by our wedding in JUly, Oh well!

Interesting. When we visited CLM, the stained and ragged tablecloths they were putting on tables in a room being set for a wedding was a total turn-off and one of the reasons we didn't choose CLM!

Ugh we were told the bridal suite would be ready for our November wedding... I thought it was almost done!!

Glad to hear about the table linens although I am more upset about the bridal suite

I have to say, it's nice to get new linens, but I never looked at them and got the impression they were stained and ragged.

Also, I was told the Bridal Suite was going to be done many times during 2004, so good luck! Serisouly, I was in the bridal suite for 5min tops anyway, so even if it's not done, it's not an important factor in the day.

Time to give Nick a call!! LOL... I'm not planning to spend much time in there either but the upstairs one is SO small and we have a large bridal party... besides its inconvenient having to go upstairs when the cocktail hour and reception are downstairs

Yeah I hear you, up and down..... funny how it was supposed to be done much earlier!!!!!!!!!!! Lou told me definitely by my July wedding. Hopefully next weekend when I am home I can go by!

E-mailed CLM through their site and Nick wrote me back... said they are promising the bridal suite to 06 brides but that they are trying their hardest to have it ready by this summer.... Keep your fingers crossed!

I have been there mnay times and have never seen stained/ragged table clothes... when did you visit it, before the full remodel?

In any case I think that is kind of rude to post in a thread that is for people having their wedding there!

I had asked about the tablecloths because I was thinking of using a different color but I was there at least 4 times before we booked and never saw stained tablecloths.
