SOOOO MAD!!

SOOOO MAD!!

My FI and I have our honeymoon all planned out, we are leaving Aug. 8 and returning the 15th to NY, then we will spend 2 nights in NY and return to VA on the 18th. Well today I got my school calendar for next year and I have to start school on the 15th!!!!! What am I going to do!!!! Even if we don't spend the extra days in NY, I still will not be home in time!!! I am so stressed!!!

This happened to a friend of mine too. She told her professors now that she will not be in school for the first three days of classes. They said not to worrry. I know that it totally stinks. Honestly - enjoy your HM, nothing happens during the first 1-2 days of school anyway. See if you can make it back buy the 17th and that way it will only be 2 days missed - you should not have missed much substantively.

so you miss the first few day, and getting syllabuses, no big deal-at least its not finals or exams. let the prof know ahead of time and i bet they are very understanding.

Can you call the district and tell them that you need a sub for the first two days? What grades?

Can you change your reservations to leaving the 7th and coming back on the 14th? It'll be stressful but at least you'll get back in time.

My FI's birthday is the 16th and he wanted to spend it in NY with his friends, I don't know what I am going to do, I have to talk to my principal.
