Spinoff of Home Depot Kitchen

I was just telling my mom about the kitchen and the prices. She proceeds to say "Do you think you will be able to get a loan since you already have 2 car loans". I lease my car and my dh has a loan from our credit union. My mom ALWAYS has a way to get me down. I am sooo excited about getting a new kitchen as soon as my dh gets a raise and not this is a downer for me-lol! I really don't think I will have a problem getting a loan but now I am getting nervous that I won't!!!

i hear ya! my family likes to point all that too! ignore it! it's hard, but let it in one ear and let it go out the other!

Don't let mom get you down, some parents are just worriers (my mom is the same way)...I've learned to tune my mom out when she does this.

I know I should just ignore her, like my sister does but I think I still have this "I want to make my parents proud" kind of thing going on which I don't know when I will be able to stop thinking that way. I feel like my mom still thinks I am 7 years old and can't make any decisions by myself. Ugghhh!
