wedding band (RING) help pleasssseee

How long does it usually take to order a ring?? I want one to match e-ring and one plain band..any ideas? am i late (wedding is 6/11/05)

i bought my fh ring at majors jewlers.in the smithaven mall. i think it took 2-3 weeks for special order. his is a little nicer than plan shiny gold ring. and the jewler said it would blend the scuffs. then for some weird reason his ring was to big so they gave us the one in the case. they were so nice about it.i also got his ring engraved. that only took one week. so get it now. one more thing over and done with

My dh's ring took about a month. My plain band took about 2 weeks and my eternity band I lucked out and since the one he had at the store was my exact size I didnt have to wait for that one at all!

We got ours at Kay Jewelers and it took a little over two weeks.

I would suggest doing it as soon as you can. We waited until the last minute and wound up having to send DH's back because it was the Comfort Fit and fit differently than a regular ring. We didn't get his until the Monday before the wedding - I was freaking out!!!

I would suggest doing ANYTHING you can in advance as early as possible

It depends. Do you need a custom ring for your engagement ring? Do you know exactly what you want? If you want a popular design and don't need something semi-custom or custom you can get it in a week or so if you comparison shop. If you are not sure, need a custom ring, want stones, engraved, etc. I would narrow my jeweler down and decide no less tha 2 months before the wedding. Keep in mind, jewelers are really busy with rings this time of year.

FH's ring came in in about 1-2 weeks from Diamond Roof in Tri-County. We are going this week to look at it and to pick one out for myself... then to send them off to be engraved
