i thought the first song introduces the bride and groom, and then they go right into their first dance and then they do the horah. i've never heard of a wedding where the bridal party gets introduced with their own song.

I JUST did this last night, it was our final meeting with the DJ.

This is what we decided on:

Grandparents/Parents: These Are The Days--10,000 Maniacs
BP: Intro to Walk This Way--Run DMC (with Aerosmith)
Us: It Takes Two--Rob Bass

I REALLY wanted Party Up In Here--DMX for the BP but the DJ said he'd have a difficult time announcing over the lyrics since they're SO vocal. He could take them away but it makes the song not really the same. So, we just moved that to the must play list and went this way.

B&G: Crazy Train by Ozzy - without the words.. it's such a grat, upbeat song and FH loves Metal

I've been meaning to FM you about this all day, it's just been crazy here.

Yeah, I was really sad . BUT then FH pointed out that at least now I'll be able to really enjoy the song dancing to it if it's played during the reception so I feel better now
