What should I expect to pay for photo?

Trying to do a wedding budget and just want an idea of what to set aside for photo. I dont need video, but I would like fantastic pics (at least 50% photojournalistic) TIA

A lot depends on if you want albums and how big. I paid $3400 for photographer and video. It included my album and 2 parent ablums plus the videos, DVD's and proofs. Proofs on CD and enlargements.

We are paying 5,000 but that is for 2 photographers and an album with 60 pictures. From what I've seen 4,000 is about average. Definitely check out Artisan, they are excellent!

i had an awesome photographer... artie was like a friend then a vendor, pics where perfect and i could not have asked for anything else! prices where very good too! if you want i will send you a link that i have you will not be disapointed one bit!

i'd say range is about 3000-6000, depending on which photographer you go w/ and how many albums you need.

Ours is costing about $4300 b/c we wanted the Soho album with 70 pics and we need three parent albums...there were a lot of packages with normal albums for a lot less

I'd say that's the average too. You can find less expensive though...
