question about making chocolate lollipops

Hi - I am making chocolate lollipops for my sons baptism. I went yesterday to Michaels to get the chocolate. I got the Light Coco chocolate. Is this the right kind? They also had the dark coco one. Is the light one supposed to be regular chocolate and the dark supposed to be like dark chocolate? Thanks for your help!!!
