Evil FSIL Strikes Again! (re-post from '05)

I have posted about my evil FSIL, but she just keeps on coming with her bs...

Yesterday we were at FH's parents to celebrate FH's birthday...just having some pizza and cake with family.

FSIL goes on to turn it into a party for her...brings out catalogs of all the stuff she is registered for for her baby (due in June)...then tells me she is joining a country club because she needs to be around snobby people (thinks she is super high class for some reason), they are going to get a BMW AND she is getting her e-ring upgraded...they only got married in July...not even a year and she already wants an upgrade!)

The best part....her family lives out of state and she tells FMIL that her sister is having a baby shower in her home state and she doesn't expect everyone to drive there so she will just have everyone over to her place for a shower FOR HERSELF!!!!!!

Is that completely rude or is it just me? I cannot stand her!

Sorry...I sooooooo needed to vent!

she sounds self centered and that she has low self confidence. she is trying to provoke jealousy - dont let it work. shes just a shallow person. try to ignore it.
is this chick in your wedding party?

wait shes already married, and just now starts thinking about upgrading her e-ring?? Who is paying for all of these nice things??? I think she is completely rude, but some people just dont realize how selfish they sound.

Is your FSIL related to mine? Some girls are just so bitchy! And the stinky thing is they manage to pull us down sometimes too. I know it's tough not to let her get under your skin, but do our best to just laugh at how pitiful she really is.

Sounds like she is a tad jealous over YOU and FH that she needs to rub all of her activities in your face to turn the jealousy around. But you see right through her and wont let her get to you!!!

I'm SO glad I get along with my SIL's! This girl seems like she's starving for attention and is jealous that you're getting the attention instead of her. I feel bad for people that are like this. It's a sad way to live.
