I just got an idea off of the michaels site but I need to get shells. Does anyone know of a good beach for that. One that will have large shells

Re: good beach for shells?
Grand Cayman
Sorry not much help huh? You can buy shells pretty reasonable at the craft stores too? Shells on LI are usually hard to find. But this is a good time of year...not too many people at the beach. Try going to Robert Moses and park in the last parking lot and walk east towards the light house you may have some luck! If nothing else it is romantic!

thanks. I think I am going to try Orchard beach here in the Bronx. If not, there are plenty in RI.

YES! I love seashell hunting! Ok- Captree is a pretty good one that's over by Robert Moses. Lots of shells.
