I should be do preparation for Parent Teacher Conferences but I am taking 'a break'

We have confrences next week. I only have to got the night ones if a parent calls and makes an appointment. So far, no appointments.

Well they don;t make appointments,....they just show UP!!! Its really annoying and so unorganized...lots of fighting its rediculous...thats the nycboe for you

The last school district I was in was like that. Parents just showed up whenever and waited on a line. I like appointments. Even though these parents are so uninvolved I would be lucky if I saw 3 parents during the 2 confrence days.

I usually end up seeing most of the parents on one day and then spend the rest of the day waiting for parents that aren't planning on coming anyway. Sigh. At least there is no afterschool tomorrow.
