can you girls check this if it sounds okay... too much?

i'm looking to book a tahiti HM.

how's $8200 for airfare and accomodations for 9 days, 8 nights at:

tahiti intercontinental
sheraton on moorea
le meridien on bora bora (overwater)

direct flight from NY to Papeete.

It sounds about right for ajiti for that many nights and airfare....where are you booking through?>

Sounds about right. We went in 2003 and paid about 8k for 10 nights in overwater bungalows at the Intercontinental's (not including airfare)

I am doing tahiti too. Is it all inclusive? That price seems the normal though.

Im not goig away, going to my lakehouse so have no idea of the expense. Just wanted to say good luck and congrats! It sounds like it will be beautiful!

this price is only for flights and rooms. the excursions would be extra. also, we plan on buying our own food instead of having the hotel food packaged in.

just have to prepare myself... tahiti is muy expensive--- but i justify it b/c i've only traveled outside the u.s. one other time (not including canada.)
