Yep, a friend of mine told me this today! The crew were all at Danfords last night (not sure if they're staying there) and the McDonalds on 347 in PJS this morning. I think they're on Grove St(?) in St James

NOW WHY would a home in St.James out of all places on LI need a make-over???

Apparently the wife recently died of cancer. There's actually a ton of run down, old farmhouses in St. James.

What scares me the most is how rampant cancer is in that area. FMIL lives a few blocks away and there is one person in EVERY house on her block that has cancer.

yeah, my mother grew up in Smithtown and every home on her street had 1 occupant or more die of the same cancer.

It's weird...

I can't wait to see that episode! I remember the house they did in the boroughs - was it Brooklyn? Alure contracting on LI did the house then, I wonder who's doing the St James one?

Oh my god!!! I'm from St. James!!!! I need to know when they're going to air that episode.

My mom had cancer, but she didn't die from it. It is really scary.

They are on Grove Street in St James. I saw a sign that said Lake Ave is closed for 1 week. My DH works for Verizon and his boss told him this morning about the house.
