it depends i think ion you i like meats and pasta so i am doing core and do lean meats and whole wheat pasta

it really depends on you.
If you think a low carb diet would work, then core is good
I really like flex. I like being able to eat what I want. I have no problem counting points, and I don't even feel like there's something I can't have. Then again you do get 35 flex points with either.
It depends..do you want to count, or relaly watc h your portions for yourself? The core plan is dangerous because it leaves you to decide portions, and we're all SO used to eating larger portions than we should.

I do flex, because I like the structure of it...but I have heard good things about core.
