lol - I'm no help - I just throw the macaroni, cheeses, and sauce in a pyrex and pop it in the oven.

I have an awesome recipe but not on me. It's very easy so you could probably just wing it.
Just boil ziti, and mix it with some crushed tomatoes that you cooked a little with some garlic and red pepper flakes. Put it in a casserole dish with some italian sausage that you've sliced and cooked, and also some chunked red or green bell peppers (sauteed).
Sprinkle on top parmesan AND grated provolone. Then bake for about 30 minutes at 350 (bake until bubbly and browned a little on top).
The provolone really makes a difference! I do remember though that you use 4 oz of it. If you use too much it's overpowering.
DH totally devours this when I make it. He'll even eat it cold
