Repost from BHB - Invite hlep

Does this sound right?
Do I have to have 2005 in my invite?
Honour is pelled with a u correct?

Do I write eleven thirty or half past eleven??

The quote on the end is because our invites are Irish Claddaugh

Roseann
to
James
son of
Henry and Patricia XXXXX
on Sunday, the twenty-sixth of June
two thousand and five
at eleven-thirty in the morning
The Historical Thatched Cottage
454 Main Street
Centerport, New York
Reception Immediately to Follow

'Let Love and Friendship reign forever, never to be separated.'

I would change: Reception Immediately to Follow

to:

Reception Immediately Following

I would definitely include two thousand and five

and it should be half past eleven. and honour is correct.

This is the correct way to word the invite.

Re: Repost from BHB - Invite hlep

So it should be....

Charles & Victoria XXXXXXX
request the honour of your presence
at the marriage of their daughter
Roseann
to
James
son of
Henry and Patricia XXXXX
on Sunday, the twenty-sixth of June
two thousand and five
at half past eleven in the morning
The Historical Thatched Cottage
454 Main Street
Centerport, New York
Reception Immediately Following

'Let Love and Friendship reign forever, never to be separated.'

Should half past be hyphenated?
